Upcycled Denim Ensemble

 

Julia Gall tapped me for a Marie Claire story written by Diana Tsui. Several designers, including myself, were sent a 10-pound box of denim scraps (courtesy of Fab Scrap) to give new life to. I chose a robe style, full length coat that was heavily influenced by the work of Martin Margiela. Full story can be read here.

I took the liberation to create a full look and curate an editorial style photoshoot wearing this modern day couture ensemble.
